Kath Mojica

Kathleen is an intuitive and emotionally intelligent leader. Over thirty years of corporate life in the advertising industry have honed her skills as a leader, able to intuit, nurture and develop people and move them in the desired direction.

As creative director at McCann Erickson Philippines, she liked searching for talent among young people fresh out of school; her perspicacity led her to unearth ‘diamonds in the rough’ among the inexperienced, the discontented, and those who hadn’t yet done their best work.

In her various roles as copywriter, creative director, communication strategist, TV and radio producer – in the Philippines and in Vietnam – she created advertising campaigns for different brands – Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, McDonalds, Walls, Nestle, Del Monte, Unilab, to name a few. She interacted with diverse groups of people, guided and mentored in a cross-cultural setting, unleashed people’s creative potential, and motivated teams. She gave talks to students and ad associations on creativity, copywriting and communication.

Her experience as a team player and leader in a creative and highly competitive environment gives her good grounding in facilitation, training, and program design. She has been a facilitator and program designer at Human Capital Development since 2009, with particular interest in communication, creativity, persuasion, presentation skills, personal branding, emotional intelligence and leadership presence. She is especially adept at engaging program participants through her interactive, conversational style which she enriches with role-play, open discussions and creative, experiential activities.

She has delivered programs for Unilever Malaysia, Deutsche Bank Philippines, Shell Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, and Citibank. She continues to do creative work as copywriter and producer. She also voices for TV and radio commercials.

Over the years, she has attended many programs and workshops on leadership, brand strategy, communication skills, presentation skills, visual facilitation, creativity, improvisation, user experience design, gestalt psychology.

She enjoys word games, books, watching old films, listening to rock ‘n’ roll, ragtime and classical music (she tries to play the same on the piano). Kathleen is a Communication Arts graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas.
